Special testing arrangements can also be made for your employees or students if the facility is requested in advance. TMI certification exams are flexible, with provisions for public delivery of exams in sensitive geographies or private delivery of exams under real-time remote monitoring and proctoring in other locations where the convenience of examinees is of extreme importance.

Candidates can easily plan and schedule their TMI certification exam online by logging into their myTMI dashboard. Once registered, they have 180 days to complete the entire certification process, including studying, preparation, and taking the exam. Certification exam fees for all TMI certification exams are due at the time of registration and are included in the certification program fee. There is no additional exam fee unless it is a re-exam. You can register for your chosen TMI professional credential program online by clicking here. Your registration for a program will remain incomplete until the full fee is paid. The fee can be paid online through credit/debit cards or through electronic bank transfer. The fee invoice and the fee tab on the candidate’s myTMI account both carry detailed information about the amount and modes of payment. Exam Development

We draw the content for the exams from a combination of industry-wide survey feedback and contributions from our team of volunteer subject matter experts. The result is a rigorous exam development process representing thousands of hours spent exceeding the knowledge standards the industry expects.

The exam development team collaborates with Subject matter experts (SMEs), Exam Technologists, Exam Environment Designers and Exam Security Experts in focus groups for item writing sessions and review meetings, who subsequently offer the final evaluation and approval of the TMI main examination.

    Schedule your exam

    Candidates are given a period of 180 days from the date of the payment to study for, prepare for and take their TMI exam. Once you’re ready you can conveniently schedule your exam online from your myTMI dashboard. Your exam results will be available immediately upon completing the exam online.

    Before taking the TMI certification exam, registered candidates are recommended to read the policies and procedures specific to the online exam. TMI practices stringent exam standards to maintain its credibility and ensures the highest integrity of exam content and fairness for all examinees during the delivery of TMI certification exams.

    Go through the minimum system requirements for TMI examinations before the start of your exam to avoid delays and added stress during the test. Follow the on-screen prompts and complete your exam.

All TMI certification exams are completely Online and digitally proctored. You can take the exam anywhere, even at home or in your office. You'll need your computer and ExamStrong verified environment prior to taking the exam. Examinees generally marking 65% of their answers correct qualify for the TMI Credential award. However, since a complex multi-variable algorithm is used to make qualification decisions which nullify geographic and other environmental factors with potential to skew performance, the qualifying benchmark should not be expected to stay pegged exactly to 65%.
