TMI certification programs are designed to be self-paced, allowing professionals to prepare for the exam on their own schedules. Once you register and receive your TMI Resource Box — which includes the official printed study material — you have up to 180 days (approximately 6 months) to prepare and take the certification exam. This flexible structure ensures that working professionals can manage their preparation alongside their day-to-day responsibilities.
TMI does not offer instructor-led or cohort-based training. However, candidates may choose to enroll in third-party preparatory programs offered by Authorized Education Providers (AEPs) in their region. These providers may offer live online or classroom-based sessions, depending on location and availability. It’s important to note that any training through AEPs is independently managed and charged separately from the certification fee.
